&lt;p&gt;The packages for CentOS 7 and Fedora 23 are in &lt;a class="reference external" href="https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/makowski/firebird/"&gt;my Fedora Copr repository&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I will update it regulary so you could have Firebird 3.0
packages in CentOS 7.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Official Epel for CentOS 7 will stay with Firebird 2.5.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Unfortunately, Firebird 3.0 don't build yet with gcc 6, as you can see in &lt;a class="reference external" href="http://tracker.firebirdsql.org/browse/CORE-5099"&gt;CORE-5099&lt;/a&gt;, so
no Firebird 3.0 yet for Fedora 24.&lt;/p&gt;

there are a lot of new Python and Python 3 modules.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I'm also really happy that Bruno packaged
&lt;a class="reference external" href="http://docs.ansible.com/"&gt;Ansible&lt;/a&gt; my favorite IT automation
tool, with aurpmi module.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Mageia have also new scientific, engineering softwares like OpenFoam,
Su2,Paraview, ...&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;For the next months, I will try to give more time to the Security team
tohelp them for security updates, and also the Sysadmin team to work on
an Mageiaversion of the Fedora tool fedmsg , because it
seems we need somthting like that for our infrastructure.&lt;/p&gt;
